Phycell

Scientific advisor: Sandrine Bertrand
The goal of the PhyCell facility is to provide scientific expertise and equipment to address questions requiring in vitro or in vivo electrophysiological techniques.
The PhyCell core is located in a dedicated room of 60 m2 in the brand-new Bordeaux Biologie Santé (BBS) building at Bordeaux University and consists of four fully equipped rigs for intracellular recordings and one for in vivo recordings in anesthetized rodents.
The PhyCell facility offers comprehensive support, from experimental design to article writing, and is strongly involved in the electrophysiological training of students and postdocs. PhyCell was created for INCIA researchers but aims to attract researchers from other academic laboratories, as well as professionals from biotech companies and industries. This is currently the case with the hosting of the company Ephyx Neuroscience.
